We are lucky enough to live in Le Morvan, Burgundy in the Parc naturel regional du Morvan, a relatively undiscovered region deep in the heart of the countryside, a place of natural, unspoilt beauty. With its forests, valleys, lakes and hills – Le Morvan is a paradise for nature lovers.
It is also within easy reach of famous vineyards such as Sancerre, Chablis and Pouilly Fume, historical landmarks including Vezeley and Bibracte and great local food and produce.
The parc was created to give a much needed boost to the local economy. The association running the parc has a charter to balance environmental protection with economic development, support restoration projects and to preserve the regional cultural identity.
I look forward to sharing more about living a Parc Life!
